360-Rotation Kitchen Faucet Extender

The Kitchen Tap Extender from The Variety Vault is a 360° rotating nozzle attachment that screws onto an existing kitchen or bathroom tap, redirecting and extending the water flow without replacing or modifying the tap itself.

What It Actually Does

A standard kitchen tap points water straight down in a fixed direction. When washing large pots, baking trays, or roasting tins, the fixed direction means the item must be positioned directly under the nozzle and rotated by hand to cover all surfaces. The tap extender replaces the fixed nozzle head and allows the water stream to rotate through a full 360° and angle downward, sideways, or toward the back of the sink, directing water exactly where it is needed without moving the item being washed.

The spray head also reduces splash. Standard tap nozzles produce a single concentrated stream that hits flat surfaces and scatters water across the worktop and wall behind the sink. The extender aerates the flow and distributes it across a wider surface area, reducing scatter and keeping the surrounding area dry during washing up.

Will It Fit My Tap

The extender uses a universal G 1/2" thread adapter compatible with the majority of standard UK kitchen and bathroom taps. Installation requires no tools, the adapter screws onto the existing thread by hand and seats with a firm clockwise turn. The silicone seal inside the connector prevents leaking at the join without plumber's tape or sealant.
If your tap has a pull-down spray head or a built-in aerator that is non-removable, the extender will not fit. For standard pillar taps, monobloc mixer taps, and bar taps with a removable nozzle cap, the extender is compatible in the majority of cases.

Food-Grade Silicone Construction

The flexible neck of the extender is made from food-grade silicone, the same material classification used in kitchen utensils, bakeware, and infant feeding equipment. The material is free from BPA, does not leach at water temperatures up to 50°C, and does not discolour or crack with regular use. The inner components are ABS plastic with stainless steel threading at the connector point.

Spray Mode and Flow

The nozzle switches between a wide spray mode for rinsing broad surfaces and a concentrated stream mode for removing stuck food residue from pans and dishes. Switching takes place by pressing the button on the nozzle head. The aerator in the spray mode reduces water consumption compared with a standard unrestricted tap flow.

Colours

Available in blue, pink, and green. All three colours are identical in specification and performance, the colour applies to the silicone neck and nozzle body.

Installation in Four Steps

Remove the existing aerator or nozzle cap from the tap by unscrewing anti-clockwise. Attach the appropriate adapter from the included set to match your tap thread. Screw the extender body onto the adapter clockwise until hand-tight. Turn on the tap and check the connector join for leaks, tighten a quarter turn further if needed.
